We collect and receive information about you, directly from you and from third parties, as well as automatically thought your use of our services.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT DIRECTLY FROM YOU
When you inquire about services and voluntarily complete our Tutoring Interest Form, we may collect your name, phone number, address, zip code, email address, child’s name, school, grade level, and other identifiable information to help us best reply to your inquiry. We collect this information to help us reply to your request for tutoring services. Our Tutoring Interest Form uses Google Forms to collect the data and send it to us. By completing the form you also agree to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
As part of the intake process we may collect additional information from the student’s parents or legal guardian including name, age, health concerns or allergies, educational history, presence of any learning difficulties.
We collect this information to communicate with you about our educational services, to respond to your inquiries, and for other current and future customer service purposes. Also to evaluate students as part of the enrollment process to determine the services we believe appropriate.
Information regarding any student who is a minor must only be provided by the student’s parent or legal guardian.
If you chose to have a Placement Assessment conducted we may also collect your child’s birth date. A Placement Assessment provides us with information about your child’s academic performance which we use to plan tutoring lessons. We share test results with parents and legal guardians via email.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect non-personal information about your browsing behavior, including:

PAYMENT PROCESSING
We use Square Appointments for booking appointments, sending email and/or text reminders for sessions, and to keep record of tutoring schedules. We use Square Payment Processing for creating and sending invoices. We do not collect card information directly from you. However, we do receive information about your purchase and your contact information (e.g. name, credit card type, last four digits of your credit or debit card number, email address). You will receive an email receipt upon completion of payment. When you enter your card information your are agreeing to process the payment using Square’s PCI compliant payment processing system. COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on our website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
